About Sinso
Sinso is the US-facing brand of Ningbo Sinso Printing Co., Ltd. (新兆印业), a color packaging manufacturer founded in 1998 in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The company has operated in color packaging for more than 25 years and produces from a facility spanning over 15,000 square meters in the Fenghua High-tech Development Zone.
What makes Sinso different
Most Extended Color Gamut (ECG) presses reach a wider color space by adding orange, green, and violet inks on top of a four-color CMYK base, achieving approximately 72% of the visible color gamut. Sinso's Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 eight-color press runs a native RGB-to-seven-ink workflow: designer files in RGB are converted directly to a seven-ink set, and a CMYK base is never laid down. This approach reproduces approximately 85% of the visible gamut and eliminates the muddy color shifts that occur in saturated reds, oranges, greens, and blues when those colors are built on top of CMYK.
Standard CMYK printing reaches approximately 52% of the visible color gamut. Sinso's workflow reaches approximately 85%. The difference is most visible in licensed artwork reproduction, saturated brand colors, and Pantone spot-color jobs that need to be matched in process printing without paying for additional spot plates.
Facility and equipment
Sinso's factory is located at No. 118 Huiming Road, Fenghua High-tech Development Zone, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The site covers more than 12,000 square meters with over 15,000 square meters of production area. The primary press is a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 configured for eight colors. The facility runs prepress, press, postpress, and finishing in-house under unified color management.
Certifications
Sinso is G7 Master Printer certified, the process-control standard administered by Idealliance for accurate gray balance and tonal reproduction across print runs. Sinso's G7 registration is verifiable through the Idealliance China G7 registry.
Sinso is GMI (Graphic Measures International) certified, which qualifies the factory as an approved vendor for private-label packaging programs at Target and Walmart. GMI certification is renewed on the schedule required by GMI and the participating retailers.
